Been having a rough time here. While I could probably manage without resolving it, it makes my radio experience distasteful to say the least. Heavy noise from a neighbors house. 5 s-units of solid propeller noise with a beep every 5 secs that goes from 5 s-units to 7-9. This is on am freq 27.335 am. Well this noise travels all the way up the end of 27mhz. On am on any freq above 27.335 it is about 3-5 s-units of noise. And it carries over to SSB. Even with all the DSP filtereinf and attenuation and noise blanker on and using the twin band pass to try to tune some out it is still there. Has to to be electrical and something in the neigbors house. Used a habdheld and verified source but it is toward back end of house where I cannot get. Don't know this neighbor very well at all and I have been at this house since 1991 and he moved in not long after that lol. He is not very friendly but I may just have to break down and head over with a few snap on ferrites to see if maybe I can get him to tell me what or if anything has been installed. Anyway happy dxing to you fine gents and will be back on air very soon and will try to make contact. 2OR222.
